The Fahadh Faasil-starrer, which has undoubtedly eclipsed the other Vishu releases of the year, achieved blockbuster status because of its excellent reviews and capacity to attract large crowds to theatres. Recent reports state that Aavesham has joined the Rs 100-crore club in Malayalam cinema within two weeks of its theatrical release.

Aavesham crosses Rs 100 crore in box office

The movie's knack for appealing to audiences of all ages has caused quite a rampage at the global box office. This is the seventh Malayalam movie to garner widespread acclaim for its compelling story and outstanding performances. Additionally, Aavesham has become the fourth movie in the industry to break the Rs 100 crore milestone in 2024.

After 11 days of release, the Jithu Madhavan-directed film brought in a total of Rs 92.02 crore in revenue. On Day 12, the action-comedy's second Monday in theatres, brought in over Rs 3 crore from the Kerala box office alone. It is obvious that Aavesham has no plans to slow down. In contrast, the Kerala collection has surpassed the Rs 40-crore threshold.

Rave response for Aavesham in theatres

Due to its fun aspects and intriguing narrative style, the action-comedy drama is attracting audiences, with the majority of them seeing it twice or three times on the big screen.

It is now reasonable to predict that Aavesham will earn more than Rs 115 crore by the end of its second week in theatres, taking into account current box office trends. It is possible that the movie's final box office collection will surpass Rs 140 crore before other eagerly awaited Malayalam films open in May. In addition, a number of celebrities, including Samantha Ruth Prabhu, expressed their admiration for the movie and Fahadh Faasil's performance in it. Aavesham also stars Sajin Gopu, Hipzster, Mithun Jai Shankar, and Roshan Shahnavaz.
