Baba Nirala finally made a comeback for more of his devious exploits with the third season of Aashram. Fans certainly had a lot to look forward to this season, wondering whether Baba’s crimes will finally catch up to him. Pammi’s plan for vengeance, as well as the entrance of a new ‘khiladi’ in the form of Esha Gupta were also some of the other elements which had gotten fans stoked. But it seems that the third season of Aashram has left viewers divided.

Fans took to Twitter to talk about the show, expressing what they liked and disliked. The people who were pleased with the show called it ‘awesome’, and were impressed by the storyline and the performances of the cast. “Baba Nirala never disappoints his devotees” , wrote one user.

Another season of Aashram already seems to be in the works, as the makers have unveiled a teaser for season 4 as well. Naturally, the viewers who liked the third season could not contain their excitement for the upcoming fourth season.

But there were many viewers who the Prakash Jha directorial did not manage to impress. While one user called it ‘disappointing’, another talked about how season 3 did not hold a candle to the first two seasons of the show.

One of the main complaints a lot of viewers had against the show was its slow pace. Many believed that Aashram 3 had unnecessarily dragged out its storyline just so they could extend the show to another season. One user even compared the show to a ‘saas bahu drama’.

Aashram 3 is available to stream on MX Player.
