Aapka Apna Zakir to go off-air?
Stand-up comedian Zakir Khan recently decided to entertain the audience with his comedy show. Titled Aapka Apna Zakir, the comedy show premiered on August 10, 2024. And ever since, the episodes have aired every Saturday and Sunday at 9:30 pm on Sony Entertainment Television. Several celebrities made appearances on Aapka Apna Zakir. But there's a sad news! Zakir's show is expected to go off-air.
Aapka Apna Zakir to go off-air?
According to a Times Now report, Aapka Apna Zakir will be going off-air due to low TRPs. A source close to the development said, "The second week’s ratings of Aapka Apna Zakir are so abysmally low that the makers almost fell off from their chairs. They have decided and informed Zakir about scrapping the show." Only six episodes of Aapka Apna Zakir had been shot.
And now, the makers aren't reportedly sure whether the balanced episodes will be aired or not. The report further suggests the channel has taken a decision and they aren't going back on this. Having said that, the source mentioned, "The production house (OML) would love to have another go and rectify the situation."

Celebrity guests on Aapka Apna Zakir
Stree 2 actors Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao and filmmaker/producer Karan Johar were among the first to be Aapka Apna Zakir's celebrity guests. The other episodes of Zakir Khan's comedy show featured Gyaarah Gyaarah actors Raghav Juyal, Kritika Kamra, Dhairya, and team Vedaa: John Abraham, Abhishek Banerjee, and Sharvari.
Apart from them, Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba stars Taapsee Pannu, Sunny Kaushal, and Vikrant Massey made an appearance on Aapka Apna Zakir. The comedy show featured panelists of celebrities like Shweta Tiwari, Rithvik Dhanjani, Paresh Ganatra, and Gopal Datt.
