Aamir Khan to Kapil Sharma: I will come on your show, but on one condition

Over the years, almost every top celebrity in a range of fields has been a guest on The Kapil Sharma Show. The list of guests even includes international stars. But one actor is yet to make his debut on his show: Aamir Khan.

And the Lal Singh Chaddha star recently brought this up with the comedy king at the trailer launch of Gippy Grewal's Punjabi film, Carry on Jatta 3.

Both Aamir and Kapil Sharma were on stage at the Mumbai event, where Aamir told the audience that over the last few months, he has been spending a lot of time at home. 

"I like watching something funny before going to bed every night. So, I have been watching The Kapil Sharma Show for the last few months, and now I am a fan of the show. I even called Kapil a few times to tell him this."

The Dangal star then quickly asked Kapil, without giving him the time to say anything, why he hadn't been invited on the show yet.

Kapil responded with laughter and said that he had invited Aamir three times, but he wasn't available at all those times. "It would be my good fortune to have you on the show," he told Aamir. Then, turning to the audience, the comic added, "I have always met him in a crowd. And we are now meeting after three long years."

Aamir quickly assured Kapil that he would most certainly be a guest on his show, but on one condition. "You always call me around the time of my film's release. I will 100% come to your show, but not for any film release, but only for entertainment."
