Aamir Khan praises The Kashmir Files: Every Indian must watch the film

On Sunday, Aamir Khan said he would see The Kashmir Files since it is a chapter of Indian history that crushes everyone's hearts. He was speaking at a fan event in the national capital for the SS Rajamouli film RRR.

The superstar stated that the fate of Kashmiri Pandits is a source of immense sadness. All Indians should watch such a movie in order to remember what happened. Khan added that what is so amazing about this film is that it has touched the emotions of all those who believe in humanity. He will absolutely watch the film, and he is pleased to see that it is a hit.

Meanwhile, as The Kashmir Files continues to draw a large audience and earn money at the box office, with even Prime Minister Narendra Modi praising the film, its producer, Abhishek Agarwal, explains how the film aims to expose the truth rather than promote animosity against any community.

The film is based on true events surrounding the departure of Kashmiri Pandits, with the makers stressing the word "genocide," despite some critics questioning the timing of the release.

Given the polarisation of society in recent years and the growth of anti-Muslim sentiment, the film has the potential to generate even more anti-Muslim sentiment.

In an interview with IANS, Abhishek, the film's producer, addressed the issue, saying that he disagrees on that point. They wanted to expose the truth that had been hidden for 32 years. Bringing the truth to the public does not imply that they are fomenting anti-Muslim sentiment. He added that terrorists mercilessly murdered Kashmiri Pandits and drove them to depart their homeland.

The producer went on to say that they had been radicalised and had been trained as terrorists. Terrorists are unable to practice any faith. In his opinion, a group of terrorists, who happened to be Muslims, murdered Kashmiri Pandits. He claimed that in the film, they had presented the truth.

Since its March 11 release, Vivek Agnihotri's film The Kashmir Files starring Anupam Kher, Darshan Kumaar, Mithun Chakraborty, and Pallavi Joshi, has broken one box office record after another.
