Sharvari is a part of the first female-led film in the YRF Spy Universe, Alpha.
Sharvari Wagh
With Munjya, Vedaa, and now Alpha in her kitty, Sharvari has become the name to look out for. The actress received a compliment from Aamir Khan himself for her role in Maharaj, which starred Aamir's son Junaid in his acting debut. Not just that, Sharvari even bagged the YRF Spy Universe film Alpha right after completing Maharaj. The actress made the revelations in a recent interview. Here's what she said...
Sharvari was among those actresses who auditioned for Thugs of Hindostan. She then met the actor himself ahead of Maharaj's screening. Aamir Khan told Sharvari that she was very good in the film, she reminisced during her interview with News18 Showsha. "You're very good in the film. You did a really good job," she recalled Aamir telling her. On hearing his words, Sharvari was assured that she had done something good.
Sharvari shot for the Netflix film, and YRF called her up for the audition of Alpha. She was not aware of any details, except that she was auditioning for an action film. Sharvari did not think that the movie could be among the YRF Spy Universe films. For her audition, Sharvari did an extensive action scene. For the audition itself, she underwent two months of training. The actress trained from Monday to Saturday for three hours every day and then recorded a tape at the end of each month to show it to Aditya Chopra.
It was after she had already gone into the character of Alpha that Sharvari started shooting for Munjya right after. The horror-comedy film, which is a part of the Maddock Supernatural Universe, required a different side of her. The actress got busy with Munjya, and the conversation on Alpha died down. Eventually, though, Sharvari got the role and is working on the film opposite Alia Bhatt. The movie will be the first female-led film from the YRF Spy Universe.
Apart from Munjya, Sharvari got recognition for her role in John Abraham’s Vedaa. Even though the movie did not work at the Box Office, the actress was loved for her character.
