Aadujeevitham – Resul Pookutty praises Prithviraj Sukumaran-Blessy's film; says it is an ‘emotional rollercoaster’

Aadujeevitham, the highly anticipated project which marks the first collaboration of Prithviraj Sukumaran and director Blessy, is gearing up for a grand release in April 2024.

Prithviraj Sukumaran and senior filmmaker Blessy kickstarted the filming of their ambitious project Aadujeevitham, in 2018. The highly anticipated project, which is based on Benyamin’s best-seller novel of the same name, is finally gearing up for a grand release after multiple delays caused by the pandemic and lockdown. As reported earlier, Aadujeevitham is set to get a grand theatrical release on April 10, 2024.

Meanwhile, the crew members of the Blessy directorial are currently busy with the post-production works of the film. Resul Pookutty, the Academy Award-winning technician who handles the sound design of the film, recently took to his official social media handles and dropped an exciting update on Aadujeevitham.

Resul Pookutty calls Aadujeevitham an ‘emotional rollercoaster’

The celebrated sound designer took to his official X (formerly Twitter) handle and shared a lovely video from the editing table of Aadujeevitham. The video reveals a tiny portion of the marvelous background score, composed by the Oscar Award-winning musician, AR Rahman. “#Aadujeevitham shaping up. From the maestro @arrahman to the master craftman #Blessy every frame is an emotional rollercoaster,” wrote Resul Pookutty in his Twitter post.

“Kudos to @PrithviOfficial and @Amala_ams,” further added the senior sound designer, hinting that the lead pair, Prithviraj Sukumaran and Amala Paul have delivered stellar performances in the film. The leading man, on the other hand, shared Resul Pookutty’s post on his official handle, and wrote: “Genius at work! @resulp #Aadujeevitham.”

Aadujeevitham – Here's what we know

For the uninitiated, Prithviraj Sukumaran is set to play the most challenging character of his career so far, in Aadujeevitham. The Blessy directorial revolves around the central character Najeeb Muhammed, a Malayali migrant worker who gets stranded in the desert of Saudi Arabia. The multi-faceted talent went through a massive physical transformation and shed around 30 kilos for the perfection of his character in the film.

Amala Paul is playing the role of Najeeb’s wife Sainu, in the survival drama. Jimmy Jean-Lois, Rik Aby, and Talib al Balushi appear in the other key roles. Academy award-winner AR Rahman has composed the songs and original score for Aadujeevitham. Sunil KS is the director of photography. A Sreekar Prasad handles the editing, and Resul Pookutty handles the sound design. Aadujeevitham is produced by the banners Visual Romance Image Makers, Jet Media Production, and Alta Global Media.
