Jithin Raj and A R Rahman have lent their voices to this soulful soundtrack in Aadujeevitham. This song received huge praise from the audience following its first performance during the audio launch event of the movie on March 10. The film, which is directed by Blessy, is all set to hit the big screen on March 28.

A R Rahman’s favourite song in Aadujeevitham

A R Rahman, the music composer, talked about how he wrote the songs for the survival drama Aadujeevitham, also known as The Goat Life, at the grand audio launch of director Blessy and actor Prithviraj Sukumaran's eagerly awaited film. The music composer was questioned during the event about his reasoning for delaying music composition until after lyricist Rafeeq Ahmed finished writing the lyrics.

"Blessy asked me to compose music for one of the songs, so I said send me the lyrics. After Rafeeq sent me some amazing lyrics, I completed the song. However, I felt like I needed more, so that's how we added the part "Periyone Enn Rahmane," Rahman recalled. Surprisingly, AR Rahman, not Rafeeq Ahmed, wrote the song's two opening lines.

Rafeeq continued by saying that writing the lyrics for Rahman's song was difficult. Writing lyrics in Rahman's style is a challenging task. The feeling of isolation and despair in Najeeb's life in the deserts and the hope in his life were two distinct emotions that we had to portray in the movie, he added.
