Aadikeshava out on OTT - Where to stream Panja Vaisshnav Tej, Sreeleela’s film

Telugu cinema’s upcoming sensation, Sreeleela, had multiple releases this year, tasting more lows than highs in terms of box office performance. She was seen in Skanda, Aadikeshava, Bhagavanth Kesari and Extra Ordinary Man. Among them, the actress was paired opposite Uppena star Vaisshnav Tej for Aadikeshava, an action entertainer directed by debutant Srikanth R Reddy.
Facing multiple delays with its release and without much promotional activity, Aadikeshava hit screens on November 24 this year. The film also marked the Telugu debut of Malayalam star Joju George (as an antagonist) and Dada actress Aparna Das. Netflix has acquired the post-theatrical OTT rights of the actioner and decided to premiere the film today, i.e. December 22.

Jayaprakash, Radhika Sarathkumar, and Suman played other important roles in the film produced by S Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas. After its theatrical release, the film performed poorly at the box office and earned shoddy reviews from critics, not helping the careers of any of its popular lead actors.
The story of Aadikeshava unfolds through the CEO of a multinational company, Chitra, who falls in love with one of her employees, Balu, a youngster with a mysterious past. Chitra’s parents are not particularly happy with their relationship and want to end Balu's life. However, a group of henchmen come to his rescue. What connects Balu’s life to mining don Chenga Reddy?
OTTplay.com's critic opined that the film doesn’t have a new story to tell and is worsened by its subpar execution. Though the first half is tolerable and the chemistry between the lead pair is likeable, the over-the-top action, forced sentiment, and a horrible climax don’t help the viewing experience, he said. Will OTT viewers have anything different to say about the film? We’ll know soon.
