Aadikeshava, the fourth film in the career of Uppena star Panja Vaisshnav Tej, is all set to be released in theatres tomorrow (November 24). The film faced multiple release delays in recent months and there’s surprisingly little hype for the action entertainer despite its star-studded lineup, which includes Sreeleela, Aparna Das, Joju George and others. N Srikanth Reddy, who also acted in MAD, makes his directorial debut with the film.

The film is produced by S Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, while it’s presented by Srikara Studios. Looking past the little buzz for the actioner, the producer expressed confidence in Aadikeshava and stated that the team is confident about the final result. Moreover, they plan to organise early premieres throughout Telugu states later today (November 23).
More details about the early premieres will be shared via the social media handles of production houses, producer S Naga Vamsi said at the pre-release press meet organised yesterday. “As a sentiment, we would be releasing it first at Sandhya Theatre in Tirupathi, much like our previous films this year,” he added. The trailer for Aadikeshava promises a gory action drama with a dose of romance and family emotions.
Promising that viewers would get to see a different dimension of Vaisshnav Tej in the film, the makers stated, “After Uppena, he was seen in a genre-based film and a romance. We were particular about making a mass action film and consciously approached Vaisshnav after writing the script.” Vaisshnav, after debuting with a blockbuster like Uppena, would be keen on scoring the second hit in his career.
Reportedly, Vaisshnav found it challenging to handle the action sequences, especially the climax shoot that lasted over 10 days. “The action scenes in the film are very realistic; I won’t go around beating up 20–30 people and it won’t suit a young hero like me,” he shared. GV Prakash Kumar scored the music for the film, which has cinematography by Dudley and is edited by Navin Nooli.
