Aadi Saikumar and Lavanya Tripathi’s web debut has a title change, now called Puli Meka

ZEE5 had earlier announced the show’s title as ‘Hunting of The Stars’

Aadi Saikumar and Lavanya Tripathi’s web project, Hunting of The Stars, that would mark their digital debut on ZEE5, has undergone a title change. The streaming platform has now announced that the show has been titled Puli Meka. The pooja ceremony of the prestigious Telugu web series was held in Hyderabad in the presence of directors Bobby and Anil Ravipudi.

The project’s launch event was also graced by Radha Krishnaveni from the ZEE5 Telugu team, actor Suhas among others. ZEE5 has joined hands with Kona Film Corporation for the same. Prominent writer, producer Kona Venkat is bankrolling the show on a lavish scale. K Chakravarthy Reddy, the brain behind the Gopichand-Mehreen Pirzada starrer Pantham, is the director.

Puli Meka is a thriller in the making, revolving around a serial killer and the police force. The killer’s main target is the police department and goes onto kill one cop after the other for reasons best known to him. Astrology plays a key role in the story, the makers added recently. Surya is the cinematographer of the show that has music by Praveen Lakkaraju.

Giridhar Mamidipalli and Kaumudi Nemani are the executive producers while Kona Venkat, Venkatesh Kilaru have penned the story. Chota K Prasad is on board as the editor and Brahma Kadali is the art director. Mukku Avinash, Siri Hanumanth, Suman play key roles too. ZEE5’s recent releases include Loser 2, Gaalivaana, Recce and Oka Chinna Family Story.
