Writer Padmabhushan: This low-budget film gets featured at Time Square, New York
Actor Suhas started his career by doing short films and now, he is playing lead characters in Telugu films and has come a long way. His last film, Color Photo also won the National Award giving a lot of confidence to the young actor. He is now ready with a family drama called Writer Padmabhushan, a family drama that is about a writer who faces issues with his debut novel. The film will release on the 3rd of February worldwide.
Chai Bisket and Lahari Films are producing this film and from the time they released the trailers, the promotions have been top-notch. We at OTTplay had already reported that the makers are having five special premieres of the film throughout the Telugu states. The first show was received with good word of mouth and this has given the team a lot of confidence.
Things have gone to the next level as the makers have now promoted the film at the famous Times Square area of New York. As seen in the picture, a small vehicle carrying the hoarding of the film has now gone viral on social media. Though it is common for Indian films to get promoted abroad, a small film like Writer Padmabhushan getting such attention is rare and shows the hype it has created.
The family drama is directed by Shanmukha Prashanth and has Ashish Vidhyarthi and Rohini in key roles. Suhas is seen as this writer who gets entangled in his novel which creates massive problems for him. All this is showcased in a hilarious manner and will impress everyone says the hero Suhas. The film is made on a very low budget and the pre-release business is done on an impressive note. Only time will tell how the general audience react to this film.
