Mukesh Gupta and Ananya Nagalla are teaming up for an actioner Nawab, written and directed by Ravi Charan. Ramraj, Murali Sharma, Rahul Dev, Shravan Raghavendra, Sri Giri, Payel Mukharjee and Sneha Gupta essay crucial roles in the film produced by RM under Namo Creations. The World of Nawab, a video introducing its team was launched recently.
Ravi Charan, who last directed Nallamala, thanked the media for their support as he embarked on Nawab and called it a one-of-a-kind effort. “The film revolves around a dump yard and I’ll reveal more details about the story shortly. I am indebted to producer RM for giving me an opportunity and grateful to the efforts of Mukesh Gupta for learning Telugu over the last few months.”
Mukesh Gupta considers himself lucky to be headlining a film as big as Nawab and thanked director Ravi Charan for giving him the opportunity. “I learnt Telugu to act in this film. The story will be unique, we will need your love to reach out to audiences.” Ramraj, who was also a part of Nallamala, remained grateful to the filmmaker for casting him in his second film.
Cinematographer KR Ramesh was reportedly impressed by Ravi Charan’s efforts with Nallamala and even called the latter to congratulate him after the release. “It’s no joke to make a film and shoot around a dump yard. He erected a dump yard set spanning 10-12 acres for the film and organised a lot of workshops before the shoot. He was very prepared for Nawab.”
Prem Rakshith has choreographed the songs in the film which has stunts by Naba and Jashuva. Shiva Sharvani is the editor of Nawab, that’s co-written by K Bhargava Chary and Vinay. Ramesh Gollamudi is the production executive. The lead actress Ananya Nagalla had recently acted in films like Vakeel Saab, Playback and had debuted with the Priyadarshi starrer Mallesham.
