A great Monday motivation for Vicky Kaushal as his film Sardar Udham gets a 9.2 IMDb rating

Monday couldn't have been better for Vicky Kaushal and his team of Sardar Udham as the biopic gets a 9.2 IMDb rating. The Soojit Sircar film was released on Amazon Prime on October 16.

The actor had posted on social media sharing his thrill and happiness. Posting on Instagram, he wrote: "9.2!!! Aap sab ne toh Udham macha diya. Heartfelt gratitude for all the love pouring in for #SardarUdham". (Sic)

The film is based on the revenge of the revolutionary who avenged the deaths of several unarmed Indians during the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. The film has become the talk of the B-town ever since its release. It has become one of the most loved films on the OTT platform Amazon Prime. As of now, the film has received 7300 votes on the user-generated database. One of the fans had commented on the post saying that the film deserves a 10/10 rating.

The Uri actor had earlier taken to Instagram to thank his director and express his gratitude. He had also said that the film is a tribute to Irrfan Khan. Sharing the BTS images, he wrote: "Thank You @shoojitsircar Sir for taking me back in time and making me meet your #SardarUdham. An experience that took a lot out of me and gave a lot more in return."

Apart from Vicky Kaushal in the titular role, the film also stars Banita Sandhu, Amol Parashar, Shaun Scott and Stephen Hogan.
