Film enthusiasts can't wait to watch how Prem is going to handle the two actors,
Karthi, Prem Kumar and Arvind Swami
Prem Kumar is one of the few filmmakers who managed to make a dream debut in Kollywood. His movie 96, which was released in 2018, went on to become one of the most celebrated romantic dramas in the history of Tamil cinema.
A while ago, there was speculation about the director coming up with a sequel to the super hit project. However, the filmmaker quashed it as a rumour while talking to OTTplay and expressed astonishment over the source of such rumours. But cinephiles were wondering why he has been staying away from the limelight for a few years.
Here's the good news. Prem is making a comeback with an exciting combination. None other than the legendary cinematographer PC Sreeram has spilled the beans on his second project. The veteran technician is cranking the camera for the untitled film.
Karthi and Arvind Swami have come on board to essay lead roles in the project. Govind Vasantha has been roped in to compose music this time, too, leaving fans thrilled. Interestingly, Suriya's 2D Entertainment is producing the movie. Needless to say, the unexpected news has sent cinephiles into a tizzy.
After Sreeram's surprise tweet went viral, Karthi replied to him and said that he's really excited about the movie. Rajsekar Pandian, the director of 2D Entertainment, too, expressed his happiness on his social media page.
