83 trailer: Ranveer Singh starrer epic sports film will give you goosebumps from the first frame

83 is slated to release on December 24, 2021.

The much-awaited trailer for "83" is finally out, and you will get goosebumps from the first frame. The trailer gives a glimpse into India's stint at the Cricket World Cup in the year 1983. The film shows how an underdog team silenced the whole world by winning the unexpected World Cup that year. The trailer highlights every struggle Team India faced from opponents, language barriers, playing their game well and more.

83 trailer features every character from the film including Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Jiiva, Saqib Saleem, Harrdy Sandhu, Ammy Virk, Pankaj Tripathi, Boman Irani, Nishant Dahiya and Sahil Khattar. All of them play iconic characters on the big screen.

The premise of "83" directed by Kabir Khan, reveals that the Lord's Cricket Ground witnessed one of the greatest underdog stories in sports history on June 25, 1983. Fourteen courageous guys defied all odds and engineered India's greatest sporting victory by defeating the World Champions, West Indies, twice! This triumph reintroduced India to the world stage and set the foundation for India to become the greatest cricketing nation in the world today. One individual, armed with self-confidence and conviction, led the team to a historic triumph.

83 is co-written by Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan and produced by Kabir Khan, Vishnuvardhan Induri, Deepika Padukone and Sajid Nadiadwala under banners Reliance Entertainment, Phantom Films, Vibri Media, KA Productions, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and Kabir Khan Films.
