83: Nagarjuna Akkineni to present Ranveer Singh starrer for Telugu audience

The Kabir Khan directorial is set for a theatrical release on December 24.

83, being a pan Indian film, will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam along with Hindi, targeting the mass audience of the country. The South star Nagarjuna Akkineni has taken the charge to present the sports drama film to the Telugu audience. Ranveer Singh shared the latest video to announce the Mass actor’s collaboration with the Kabir Singh directorial.

Nagarjuna was seen making a small thank you speech on bagging the opportunity to present 83 in a language down south. “Annapurna Studios and myself, we are just proud, honoured and privileged to present 83 the film to the Telugu audience. Thank you Kabir Khan for recreating the magic of that legendary match all over again and showing it to the younger generation. I’m really looking forward to watching this at the cinema. 83 the film just five more days to go,” said the actor in the heartfelt video, which has been shared by Ranveer on Instagram.

The post reads, “The legendary superstar, #NagarjunaAkkineni sir, is elated to present the glorious story of Kapil's Devils! 5 Days To 83. 83 RELEASING IN CINEMAS ON 24TH DEC, 2021, in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. Also in 3D. #ThisIs83 (sic).”

The highly-anticipated movie of the year, which stars the Ram-Leela actor as Kapil Dev, also features Deepika Padukone as Romi Bhatia Dev, Tahir Raj Bhasin as Sunil Gavaskar, Jiiva as Krishnamachari Srikkanth, Saqib Saleem as Mohinder Amarnath, Harrdy Sandhu as Madan Lal and Ammy Virk as Balwinder Sandhu. It also has Pankaj Tripathi, Boman Irani, Nishant Dahiya and Sahil Khattar in key roles.

The Kabir Khan directorial, which has been co-written by him and Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan, is set for a theatrical release on December 24.
