Nikhil Siddhartha's Karthikeya 2 won the Best Telugu Film Award at the 70th National Film Awards. Chandoo Mondeti directed the film.

Karthikeya is a film that Nikhil Siddhartha will never forget. It gave him much-needed success and made his name quite famous in the Telugu film industry. But in the last few years, Nikhil was struggling for a hit. He announced Karthikeya 2, which was directed by Chandoo Modeti.
Right from the day the film went on floors, Karthikeya 2 won the hearts of many. Now, things have gone to the next level as Karthikeya 2 has won the 70th National Award for the best Telugu film for the year 2024. This is a massive honor for Nikhil and his team, as they have worked so hard on the film.

Rahul Rawail, Chairperson of the Feature Film Jury; Nila Madhab Panda, Chairperson of the Non-Feature Film Jury; and Gangadhar Mudalair, Chairperson of the Best Writing on Cinema Jury, along with the respective jury members, announced the winners' list.
The in-form production house, People Media Factory, and Abhishek Aggarwal jointly produced this film, which was a smash hit and made just over Rs 100 crore worldwide by the end of its run. Anupama Parameswaran played the female lead in this film, which also had Viva Harsha and Srinivasa Reddy in key roles.
Anupam Kher made a cameo in this film. Chandoo Mondeti narrated the film superbly, and now all eyes are on the third part of this series. Nikhil Siddhartha is thrilled with this award and says he always knew that Karthikeya 2 would do wonders from the day it went on floors. Watch this space for more updates on this project.
