Brahmastra starring Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor secured its place in cinematic history as the film won the prestigious Nation Film Awards 2024. To commemorate the special occasion, Karan Johar took to his social media and celebrated the win by sharing pictures with Ayan Mukerji and a heartfelt caption.

Karan Johar celebrates Brahmastra making history!

On October 8, 2024, Karan Johar took to his social media account and celebrated the film's win at the National Awards 2024 by sharing three pictures. In the first picture, the filmmaker can be seen posing with Brahmastra director Ayan Mukerji holding the esteemed award and wearing the medal. The second picture has Karan posing with the trophy while the third one is a video of the moment when he walked onto the stage to receive the award.

Sharing the pictures on his Instagram account, KJo said in the caption that every time he steps into this stage, it's always a different feeling of magic. He added, "And thank you to the audience, for the bountiful love that you shower. This is the third time for me on stage, and the magnanimity of it all is not lost on me. And what a day to celebrate - since today also marks 44 years of @dharmamovies! @ayan_mukerji, here’s to #Brahmastra being etched in history. To the team, who made the magic happen - thank you!"

Meanwhile, Brahmastra is directed by Ayan Mukerji and is produced by Karan Johar. The film stars Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles of Shiva and Isha. The film also features Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna, among others.
