The F.R.I.E.N.D.S reunion episode titled ‘The one where they get back together’ will premiere on May 27 on HBO Max, and it will indeed mark the end of an era.
News of the upcoming F.R.I.E.N.D.S reunion surfaced recently. Could fans be any more excited to see their favourite friends on screen again? The reunion episode titled ‘The one where they get back together’ will premiere on May 27 on HBO Max, and it will indeed mark the end of an era.
Here are five settings where we wish the reunion was filmed:
1. Monica’s apartment
It’s impossible to name Monica’s apartment and not recollect purple walls, blue kitchen, and wooden dining table where several thanksgiving meals were shared. The apartment was an integral foundation of the show, and it would be a fantastic moment to witness the cast hang out there one last time.
2. Chandler and Joey’s apartment
This apartment acted as the duo’s sanctuary for years, where they watched Baywatch, shared beers, played foosball, and raised a chick and a duck. Situated across the hall from Monica’s house, filming the reunion here would be an ode to the best duo television has seen.
3. Central Perk
Central Perk was much more than a coffee shop in the series; it was a place where the characters laughed, cried, and spent some of the best moments of their life together. If you recall, the final episode ended with the gang heading to Central Perk one last time. Wouldn’t it be great if the reunion episode picked up from there?
4. Malibu
Did you just imagine ‘The one with the jellyfish’ episode too? Well, the episode was indeed one to remember, and it would be a sight to see the friends take a road trip there as part of the much-awaited reunion.
5. The Pulitzer fountain
This is the fountain around which the six friends danced and splashed around in the opening of each episode. With the song itself being such a hit and having a huge fan following, wouldn’t it be great to have the reunion episode filmed at that location as an ode to the iconic sitcom?
