Now, as we enter the second week of January, several movies are set to release on OTT. Apart from having big releases in theatres, OTT has a special offering with a wide variety of movies. From Vikrant Massey's film The Sabarmati Report to Vikramaditya Motwane's Black Warrant, here's everything that will be released on OTT on January 10.
The Sabarmati Report stars Vikrant Massey, Raashii Khanna, and Ridhi Dogra in the lead roles. Directed by Dheeraj Sarna, it is based on true events and focuses on the 2002 Godhra train burning incident. A young journalist tries to reveal the truth behind the tragic incident but he ends up triggering influential individuals who secretly control everything. The film, which was released in theatres on November 15, 2024, ended up receiving praise from Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Now, it is all set to stream on ZEE5 on January 10, 2025.
Netflix is all set to treat the audience with Vikramaditya Motwane's upcoming series, Black Warrant. It stars Zahan Kapoor, Rahul Bhat, and Sidhant Gupta in the lead roles. It tells the gripping real-life story of a young jailer who joins Tihar Jail and faces numerous harrowing challenges. He is determined to get rid of the systemic problems invading Delhi's Tihar Jail. It will be out on the streaming app on January 10.
Viswanth and Shilpa Manjunath starrer Hide N Seek is a 2024 Telugu film. Directed by Basireddy Rana, the film is set in the city of Kurnool. It revolves around a series of suicides that grip the city, creating challenges for the police. A police officer investigates the case and discovers that a medical student is orchestrating the suicides, but it turns out to be planned murders. The film will be out on January 10 on Aha. The viewers will also be able to watch it on OTTplay Premium.
Directed by Vipin Atley, Pombalai Orumai stars Sreeshma Chandran and Jitheesh Parameshwar in lead roles. For this film, Sreeshma won the Best Character Artist (Female) for her performance at the State Awards. The film revolves around a Junior Health Inspector, who is transferred to a rural village during Covid. She meets Sunitha, a tailor seeking help with an investigation. Together, they unravel the mystery with the help of the Junior Health Inspector's friends. It will be out on Manorama Max and OTTplay Premium on January 10.
Black Water: Abyss was released in 2020 and now it is all set to make its debut on OTT. The English horror thriller will drop on Lionsgate Play and OTTplay Premium on January 10. Directed by Andrew Traucki, the movie features Jessica McNamee, Luke Mitchell, Amali Golden, Anthony Sharpe, Rhys Ward, and Benjamin Hoetjes in key roles. The story revolves around a group of friends who go for an adventurous outing in an Australian forest. But after a tropical storm occurs, they get trapped inside a cave, where a dangerous creature is hiding in the dark.
