Kangana Ranaut has finally a penned a letter for everyone who is bashing her for Dhaakad debacle. The actress says that she sees a lot of negativity but 2022 is the year of blockbuster. Kangana, of course, cited the example of her OTT debut, Lock Upp.

The actress took to Instagram and shared her views through an Insta story. She said that she has great hopes from the year.

Kangana penned that in 2019 she gave a ‘superhit hit film’ in Manikarnika, which earned Rs. 160 crores at the Box Office. The film marked her debut as a director.

She pointed out how 2020 was the year of COVID-19 but in 2021, the actress shared, that her film Thalaivii became a huge success on OTT.

Finally, she came to the year 2022 and pointed out how the show she hosted – Lock Upp – became a huge success. The reality show marked Kangana’s collaboration with Ekta Kapoor again. It was often compared to Bigg Boss but the two boss ladies maintained that their show is ‘badass’ and ‘dhaakad.’

Kangana has received a lot of bashing post both Lock Upp as well as Dhaakad. The show’s runner-up Payal Rohatgi and her fans have called out Kangana for being biased and making Munawar Faruqui the winner one week after meeting Bigg Boss host Salman Khan.

Dhaakad has been receiving the same amount of bashing too. The movie, as per reports, has not been working at the Box Office at all. By the end of week one, it was reported that only eight people saw the film across India.

Kangana addressed the same through her post. However, the actress has also moved on to her next projects titled Emergency, Tejas and The Incarnation: Sita respectively.
