2 years of Paatal Lok: Abhishek Banerjee says the memories from the shoot are the ones he’ll have when he dies

Today marks the two-year anniversary of the hit Amazon Prime Video series Paatal Lok. The Hindi criminal thriller web series, created by Anushka Sharma's Clean Slate Filmz, stars Abhishek Banerjee, Jaideep Ahlawat, Gul Panag, Neeraj Kabi, Swastika Mukherjee, and Ishwak Singh.

Abhishek Banerjee was seen in a never-seen-before avatar in the web series. His character, Hatoda Tyagi in Paatal Lok was unlike any other roles he’s played like Jaana in Stree and Mahinder in Dream Girl. Hatoda Tyagi aka Abhishek was seen in the series murdering people with a hammer, and his performance received a lot of praise from both the viewers and the critics.

Regarding Abhishek's career, he had to venture outside of his comfort zone and play an aggressive criminal persona. Although breaking from one's known image in any genre is a risky approach for any actor, Abhishek dazzled the audience with his dark and dramatic role in the series.

Paatal Lok is extremely important in Abhishek's life, he revealed. He said in his statement: "The first recollection I have is that the trailer was released on my birthday. And everything about that show, I think those are the memories you'll have when you die, you know, from the first day of shooting when I was nervous to the last day of shooting when I was tired."

Abhishek Banerjee, who added a whole new persona to Amazon Prime Video's murder thriller web series 'Paatal Lok,' stunned everyone with his incredible performance.

On the work front, Abhishek will next be seen in 'Nazarandaaz’, 'Bhediya’, and 7 other new projects.
