Ajay Devgn starrer Drishyam 2 is the second installment in the Drishyam franchise. The crime thriller, directed by Abhishek Pathak, is a follow-up to the 2015 movie Drishyam which was based on the 2013 Malayalam movie of the same name. Drishyam 2 is also based on the 2021 Malayalam movie of the same name. The film completed two years of its release today and Ajay has a special yet hilarious post to celebrate the film.

Drishyam 2 was released in theatres on November 18, 2022, to a lot of praise. As the film marks its second anniversary today, Taking to Instagram today, Ajay Devgn shared a photo of himself from behind, holding a garden hoe while facing a spot where a ‘maha satsang’ board can be seen. Along with the picture, he wrote a quirky caption, "Felt like going for a little gardening today... iykyk."

Well, as expected, as soon as Devgn shared the picture, fans were quick to take to the comments section and ask if this was a hint for the sequel to the film. A fan wrote: “For a moment I thought DRISHYAM 3 ANNOUNCEMENT.” Another one wrote: “Such a hilarious movie. Vote for part 3.” Some fans also took this post as a hint to announce the third part of the film as one person wrote: “Can we say Drishyam 3 is loaded?”

Drishyam 2 stars Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Akshaye Khanna, Shriya Saran, and Ishita Dutta. In supporting roles, it also has Mrunal Jadhav, Rajat Kapoor, Saurabh Shukla, and Kamlesh Sawant. Upon its theatrical release, the film was a box office success and collected Rs. 329.01 crore globally. Drishyam 2 emerged as the second-highest-grossing Hindi film of the year 2022.
