When the first look poster of Kerala State Award-winning filmmaker Senna Hedge’s next titled 1744: WA was released back in January, it captured the attention of the fans. The latest update about the venture is that it has concluded its filming.
The director took to social media to share the news with the fans. In an Instagram post, Hegde shared a delightful photo from the sets of the film and captioned it, “Last day. Last scene”. He also confirmed that the filming of the project has been completed after 18 days of fun under the Kanhangad sun.
Actor Sharafudheen, who is the leading star of the movie also shared a post on Instagram confirming the same. He shared a photo from the set of the movie featuring the crew.
The movie, which the director called a “crime-comedy drama” in an exclusive interview with OTTPlay will have three parallel stories in terconnected at various stages of the movie. Apart from Sharafudheen, the movie also stars Vincy Aloshious, Navas Vallikkunnu and Rajesh Madhavan among others.
Senna Hegde was in the limelight since the release of his realistic comedy drama Thinkalazhcha Nishchayam. The film, which is available to stream on Sony LIV, is a story set in the backdrop of a wedding eve and an eloping bride.
The movie was selected for the 25th International Film Festival of Kerala in the Malayalam Cinema Today category. It won the Kerala State Film Award Second Best Film and Hegde also got the award for Best Story.
Sharafudheen, who was last seen in the mystery drama Aarkkariyam co-starring Biju Menon and Parvathy Thiruvothu, will also be seen in Aashiq Abu’s upcoming political thrillerstarring Tovino Thomas.
