The actor also wrote, "Can we all just salute women and heroines all over the world who do these things and much worse just to look good?"
It's been 17 years since Fanaa was released. The Kunal Kohli directorial features Aamir Khan and Kajol in the lead roles. The film reunited the actors after nine years, as they worked together for the first time in Ishq (1997). In Fanaa Kajol played the role of a visually impaired woman who gets her eyesight back. While Aamir is a terrorist who disguises himself as a common man and abandons Kajol's character after helping her get her eyesight back,
Now, as Fanaa celebrates 17 years since its release, Kajol took a trip down memory lane in the most fun way. She wrote, "One of my oh-so-many "comebacks," Zooni will always remain special to me simply because I just had to be me without my glasses. #Nerds rock! And since you guys loved my memories, let me give you some more."
Recalling the Mere Haath Mein song shoot, Kajol stated, "Poland was -27 degrees centigrade on the first day of shooting, and I was wearing a thin chiffon salwar kameez on a frozen lake with the wind chill factor aside. Aamir Khan, on the other hand, had bought himself a nice, thick jacket from the local market just for the shoot. So his face did not have the natural pain that was there on my frozen face!"
She then revealed, "And the cherry on top of the whole scenario was that the whole song was scrapped and reshot when we got back to Mumbai!"
Kajol concluded by writing how female actors have to suffer in harsh climates because of their outfits. She wrote, "Can we all just salute women and heroines all over the world who do these things and much worse just to look good?"
Fanaa also featured Rishi Kapoor, Kirron Kher, and Tabu in pivotal roles. Yash Raj Films produced the movie.
