After a long hiatus, Farhan Akhtar is all set to make a comeback in acting with his upcoming film, '120 Bahadur'. The actor, who is also known for his impactful direction, writing as well as producing films and shows is set to make a return to the big screens after three year break. He will be seen portraying the role of Major Shaitan Singh in the war film set during the 1962 Indo-China war. Recently, the actor shared a behind-the-scenes picture from the set which has created a frenzy among the fans.

Today, on September 14, Farhan Akhtar took to his social media account and shared a behind-the-scenes picture from the sets of Ladakh. In the picture, we can see his team prepping for a shoot amidst the breathtaking rocky backdrop of the region. The photo is captioned: "Crew at work. #bts #120Bahadur #EkSauBeesBahadur #ladakh"

Farhan's Instagram post about the update on his upcoming acting project has heightened the anticipation for his return to acting. Fans took to the comment section and expressed their excitement about the project. One fan wrote: "can’t wait Paaji", while another one wrote: "Looking forward to seeing you on big screen again" Farhan’s sister and filmmaker, Zoya Akhtar, also commented with a heart emoticon on the post.

120 Bahadur is directed by Razneesh "Razy" Ghai. While announcing the film on his social media account, Farhan Akhtar shared a few posters of the film along with a short note. He revealed that the film is based on the life of Maj Shaitan Singh Bhati and the soldiers of Charlie Company, 13 Kumaon regiment who fought the Battle of Rezang La during the Indo-China war in 1962. He also shared in the caption, “What they accomplished will never be forgotten.”
