10 years of Shuddh Desi Romance: Parineeti Chopra misses Rishi Kapoor and Sushant Singh Rajput; recalls heartwarming moments of the film

Parineeti Chopra, who will soon marry politico Raghav Chadha, misses Rishi Kapoor and Sushant Singh Rajput as the film Shuddh Desi Romance completes 10 years.

On this day, Shuddh Desi Romance – a popular Bollywood movie starring Parineeti Chopra, Sushant Singh Rajput, and Vaani Kapoor in the lead roles, was released theatrically 10 years ago. Back then, this movie earned over Rs 50 crores at the box office following which, the movie was declared as a superhit.

To celebrate this joyous occasion, which coincides with the festival of Janmashtami today, Bollywood starlet Parineeti Chopra has penned an adorable message for the cast and crew of the film. Through the message, Parineeti conveyed to her fans and well-wishers that she misses the presence of actors Rishi Kapoor and Sushant Singh Rajput, who left heavenly abode in the year 2020.

“Time really flies! A decade to this film but the memories are still fresh. This movie was a journey full of laughter, and hectic shoots but heartwarming moments. What an experience shooting this film with such legendary actors. Rishi sir, we miss you. Sushant, miss you even more. You were one of my favourite costars. #10YearsOfShuddhDesiRomance” wrote Parineeti Chopra on Instagram today.

Her Instagram post has been liked by thousands of users of this social media platform.

Vaani Kapoor also attached a post by Yash Raj Films on her Instagram Stories which remembered the contribution of the film in the Indian film industry.
