Naaigal Jaakirathai is a 2014 Tamil comedy thriller film, written and directed by filmmaker Shakti Soundar Rajan. It features actor Sibiraj in the lead role, along with a German Shepherd canine. Inspired from the 1989 film Turner & Hooch, the film revolves around a policeman who with the help of a trained service dog, tried to find his abducted wife.
On the occasion of the film turning 10 years, you can stream the film on SunNXT and OTTplay Premium app. Naaigal Jaakirathai is backed by veteran actor Sathyaraj, and went on to become a profitable venture for the team. Others part of the cast include Arundhati, Balaji Venugopal, Manobala, Mayilsamy, and others. The music was composed by Dharan Kumar, with camera cranked by Nizar Shifi and Praveen K. L as editor.
