Today marks the tenth year of Gabbar Singh's release, a film which will remain special for fans of Pawan Kalyan forever. The movie directed by Harish Shankar went on to become the second highest grossing Telugu film and marked the much-awaited comeback of Power Star who had a string of under performing projects.

Pawan's electrifying screen presence, his chemistry with Shruti Haasan, popular one-liners and Devi Sri Prasad's songs and background score were major highlights of the movie which is still the favourite for his fans among the star's outings in the last decade.

Fans have been celebrating the special occasion on social media by posting pictures and videos from the movie along with the hashtag #10YearsforGabbarSingh. One of the enthusiastic fans came up with a string of tweets which had fun facts associated with the film.

He had mentioned that Harish himself had lent voice for a small bit in the popular song Mandu Baabulam in the film. Upon release, the song and its visuals went on to become a rage among fans of Pawan. Harish took to Twitter to post the short clip of seven seconds which had him singing and thanked Devi Sri Prasad aka DSP for the opportunity.

Apparently, the team found that no Telugu singer was available to lend voice for the song the recording of which was happening in Chennai. So, DSP requested Harish to give it a try, and he happily obliged.

Harish Shankar had announced his reunion with Pawan Kalyan last year for a project that has been titled Bhavadeeyudu Bhagat Singh. Though he had posted a few photos of himself along with Pawan on social media in recent times, he is yet to announce when the film will go on floors. DSP has been roped in to compose music this time, too.
