Dream Girl 2 is a sequel to the successful film ‘Dream Girl’. The comic caper stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday in the lead roles. Directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, the film completed one year of release today, on August 25, 2024. To celebrate the first anniversary of the film, Ayushmann shares a fun video on his social media account.

Taking to his Instagram account, Ayushmann Khurrana shared a video where he receives a surprise box, with Pooja’s belongings, only to then get a call from another Pooja, selling a credit card! Initially, he gets shocked listening to the name 'pooja' and then looks at the camera and says, "Naam chaahe jitne bhi ho, asli Pooja toh sirf ek hi hai".

He also captioned the video - "Naam chahe jitne bhi ho, asli Pooja toh sirf ek hi hai #1YearOfDreamGirl2"

Speaking about the one-year anniversary of the film Ayushmann says that it has been a true delight that his film got so much of love and appreciation. "The film will always hold a special place in my heart, not only because of the success it got but for the joy it spread amongst people. As an actor, if you can evoke a sense of happiness in your audience and bring a smile to their faces, I feel it’s half the job done, and that’s what Dream Girl 2 did,” he said.
