Yodha actor Tanuj Virwani says co-star Sidharth Malhotra 'doesn't throw attitude' - "He is always calm and..." | Exclusive

Tanuj Virwani will be seen alongside Sidharth Malhotra in Yodha. In an exclusive interview with OTTplay, the actor shared his experience working with Sidharth.

Tanuj Virwani is currently gearing up for the release of his film, Yodha. The actor is excited about the film, as it has been one of the most anticipated movies of this year. Ahead of Yodha's theatrical release, Tanuj opened up about his character in the film. He also shared his experience of working with Sidharth Malhotra, who will be seen as Arun Katyal in Yodha.

Helmed by Pushkar Ojha and Sagar Ambre, Yodha's star cast also includes Raashii Khanna and Disha Patani. Although Tanuj shared screen space with Sidharth and Raashii, the actor didn't happen to meet Disha as they had no scenes together.

Describing his experience of working with Sidharth and how the actor is on set, Tanuj told OTTplay, "I find Sid, in particular, to be one of the nicest people I have worked with. He is always calm and pleasant with everyone. He doesn't throw attitude, he has been a successful actor for so many years now. He can call the shots. Dharma (Productions) is the same banner that launched him but there was no sense of entitlement. It is so refreshing that he is always ready to give one more shot and one more take because he thinks he can do better. He is not complacent about his work at all. And I found this to be a delightful quality."

Further, he also stated that working with both Sidharth and Raashii was wonderful. The actor added that they had a lot of fun moments on the set. "Sometimes, people have this misconception that when you are doing a serious and intense film, everyone on the set is serious. But there is nothing further away from the truth. When we would have breaks, we would play cricket together and have gupshup. It was nice," revealed Tanuj.

Tanuj Virwani on his character in Yodha

Without revealing much about his character in Yodha, Tanuj Virwani told us that he is a part of the Yodha task force in the movie, along with Sidharth and a few others. "Because of a certain event that takes place, we all go our separate ways. So, you will see me as a part of the army, where I am clean-shaven and in the Yodha task force with a gun and other equipment. Later, you will see me as the ground commander, who is negotiating and defusing the hijack situation, which forms the basic crux of the film," said Tanuj.

Backed by Dharma Productions and Shashank Khaitan, Yodha will hit the big screen on March 15, 2024.
