Uorfi Javed recalls her early eviction from Bigg Boss OTT: 'I thought duniya khatam...' | Exclusive

In OTTplay's interview, Uorfi Javed reflected on her early eviction from Bigg Boss OTT. The actress also spoke about doing only 'side characters' in television and web shows.

Uorfi Javed garnered a lot of attention because of her unconventional fashion choices. The actress' paparazzi appearances always kept her in the limelight. Before she rose to fame because of it, Uorfi did a few television shows. The actress also participated in Bigg Boss OTT, which Karan Johar hosted. In an exclusive conversation with OTTplay, Uorfi reflected on her early eviction from the reality show that streamed on Voot.

Speaking with us, Uorfi Javed revealed how she was affected after getting eliminated from Bigg Boss OTT in the first week. "I got eliminated very early from Bigg Boss OTT in the first week. I felt very bad. I thought ki duniya khatam hogayi hain and ab kuch nahi bacha hain (I thought the world had come to an end and there was nothing left). What will I do now? There was one opportunity and I missed that."

Post her eviction from the Karan Johar-hosted reality show, Uorfi chose to utilize the attention she got. "But then, I decided to utilize whatever media attention I was getting," she added.

As the conversation continued, Uorfi went down memory lane and recalled her journey on television and in the OTT space. The actress revealed, "I was only playing side characters on television and in web shows. Main sirf khadi rehti thi mostly and dialogues bhi nahi aate the (I would just stand and not get dialogues)."

Despite that, Uorfi continued to work. "I grabbed the opportunity to do Bigg Boss OTT. And after that, I took all the opportunities that came my way. I haven't done a good web series or a good job in acting," she sai d while signing off.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Uorfi recently did her reality series, Follow Kar Lo Yaar. The actress gave a sneak peek into her real life with this web show. The Amazon Prime Video show highlighted both the personal and professional lives of Uorfi. It premiered on August 23, 2024.
