Shriya Saran recently attempted something different as she featured in Star Vs Food: Survival 2. The actress took a journey into the wilderness with Chef Ranveer Brar for Discovery Channel's adventurous show. The episode, starring Shriya and Ranveer, premiered on November 18 on the channel, and its OTT platform discovery+. In an exclusive interview with OTTplay, Shriya shared her experience and wishes to attempt an adventure like this with her Sivaji: The Boss co-star Rajinikanth.

Shriya Saran told us that she would've been 'scared' if she had to take this adventurous journey alone. The actress said, "I had a good companion (Ranveer Brar), so we could talk about anything and everything. He is also very well-read. When you are just walking (in the forest) and you see a herb, you're like — let's make tea out of this fern."

Shriya also mentioned that Chef Ranveer knows many things. "There was a wild leaf apparently and if you touch it, your hand starts itching and I was like it can't be true. I was like (to Ranveer) 'How do you know so much about so much?' He knows a lot and it was very fun to do this journey with him," she added. Talking further about her fear of fire and darkness, Shriya said, "Both are not my best friends (laughs). I don't cook (food) because it has to be (made) on fire."

Continuing this conversation, Saran named a co-star with whom she would attempt an adventurous journey like this. "I think Rajini (superstar Rajinikanth) sir because he loves talking and is well-read. He is always reading a book and he knows so much about so many things. It would be nice to know about his experiences and his life. It would be interesting to do this with him," said Shriya.

The actress also shared, "I think most of the actors I have worked with, whether it is Ajay (Devgn) sir, Prabhas and Tarak (Jr NTR), they love adventure. It would be fun to do something like this with anybody of them."

Meanwhile, Shriya Saran has confirmed that she is a part of Suriya's next, Suriya 44. The actress has done a special dance number in the Karthik Subbaraj directorial.
