Sharwananad at Manamey pre-release event

Sharwanand is one of the most talented actors in Telugu cinema. But sadly, a few bad choices in films have pinned him back in his career. After taking a gap of two years, he is back with his new film, Manamey, which is all set to hit screens on June 7, 2024.

Sharwanand is super confident about Manamey's success

Enjoy 35+ OTTs like ZEE5, LionsgatePlay, Ullu, SunNXT, SonyLIV, Fancode and 250+ Live TV channels at just ₹99.

The pre-release event for Manamey was held on a grand scale in Hyderabad, and Sharwa spoke his heart out about his career and the movie. Sharwa says that he is super confident that Manamey will be a smash hit. "I am 100% sure that Manamey will be a solid hit, and I have planned a massive success celebration in Pithapuram, where Pawan Kalyan has won with a thumping majority," says Sharwa.

Shawanand on Manamey's success

Adding further, Sharwa says that he starred in a few bad films but he has rectified all issues with his script selection. "With Manamey, you will see Sharwa 2.0 for sure. I promise you that my fans and audience will see me in superb roles from now on," adds Sharwa.

The popular hero also made a big statement: If Manamy turns out to be a blockbuster, the director, Sriram Aditya, should be credited. But if the film flops, he will take all the blame, says Sharwa.

After a few serious roles, Sharwa is playing an entertaining role in Manamey. The film is based on only three characters: the lead pair and a baby. The chemistry between the lead pair (Sharwa and Krithi Shetty) and the comedy through the baby is one of the biggest highlights, says the young actor.

Krithi Shetty plays the female lead and this film is also important for her as she has also been a part of several flop films. People Media Factory has produced this film on a high budget as the film was shot in London.

Sharwa says that Manamey has great music by Hesham Abdul Wahab and colourful visuals that will hold your attention till the end. The emotions in the film are one of its major highlights and the heartbreak scenes in the last 20 minutes are to watch out for.

Manamey is releasing along with two other films: Love Mouli and Kajal Aggarwal's Satyabhama. We need to see how this film will fare with such strong competition. Watch this space for more updates.
