In an interview with OTTplay, Riva Arora shared how she bagged a role in Vicky Kaushal-starrer Uri: The Surgical Strike. The Aditya Dhar directorial was released in 2019.

Riva Arora started working as a child actor in the world of showbiz. One of the Bollywood films she did as a child artist was Uri: The Surgical Strike. Riva played the role of Suhani Kashyap in the Vicky Kaushal-starrer. She was seen as Mohit Raina aka Major Karan Kashyap's daughter. After Uri's release in 2019, Riva did a couple of projects. In a recent and exclusive interview with OTTplay, Riva revealed how she bagged Uri.

During a conversation with us, Riva Arora shared the most miraculous moment of her life. The young actress said a lot of miracles have happened in her life. One of those moments includes how she landed a role in Vicky Kaushal's Uri: The Surgical Strike.

"The one particular moment that I can recall right now is how I got Uri. When I got the call for Uri for the first time, I was not even here (in Mumbai) and they wanted me that day (for audition). I only took one day off to go and attend my mama's wedding and then I came back. Then I got a call one month later, 'Are you still in Delhi or are you in Mumbai? I said now I am back in Mumbai, I can come," revealed Riva.

Recalling the day she went for an audition, the actress shared, "At the time I went for an audition, already a lot of kids, there were almost 2 lakh kids, who had auditioned for that role. I went there and once they gave me the script, I gave the audition, and I left. Just after I left, 2 minutes later I got the call that take a U-turn and come back, you are finalized. That was a miracle moment for me."

Meanwhile, on the work front, Riva is currently seen in Power of Paanch. The web show, also starring Urvashi Dholakia, Barkha Bisht, and Yash Sehgal, premiered on Disney+ Hotstar and JioCinema on January 17, 2025. The series is also available for streaming OTTplay Premium.
