'RRR' and 'K.G.F: Chapter 2' have been two major causes for celebration for fans across India over the past couple of months. Both films have managed successfully to usher in hope and optimism for the audiences through their massive commercial exploits and these results have been particularly kind on the post-pandemic era for Indian cinema. And when two worlds were to merge at some point for a new mega collaboration, one can expect the excitement to soar really high.
It wasn't long ago that director Prashanth Neel announced his next with Telugu superstar Jr. NTR to mark the latter's 31st outing as an actor. The duo would later get busy wrapping up their respective commitments but it would now seem that they are geared up for the much-awaited collaboration. Jr. NTR took to social media very recently to hint at the upcoming film with Prashanth Neel as they celebrated their marriage anniversaries together.
Both Prashanth Neel and Jr. NTR, incidentally, celebrate their wedding anniversaries on the 5th of May and the latter's post revealed an intimate gathering of the two couples. The KGF: Chapter 2 director was joined by his wife Likitha while the 'RRR' star seemed quite up in his spirits as he stood hand-in-hand with his better half Lakshmi Pranathi. "When you share anniversaries, it calls for a celebration…#newbeginnings" wrote the Telugu superstar in his post.
As per the latest reports, Prashanth Neel has confirmed that his film with Jr. NTR is set to take off sometime next year. The director is expected to wrap up his other major commitment 'Salaar' in the coming months and therefore, has remained reticent about divulging much about the Jr. NTR project. The film will be produced by the actor himself in association with Mythri Movie Makers.
