Nawazuddin Siddiqui made his OTT debut with Sacred Games. The actor essayed the role of Ganesh Gaitode in the web series. Following the first season's success, the makers renewed it for a second installment. Sacred Games 2 was released in 2019. Now, in an interview with OTTplay, Nawazuddin has revealed that the third season of Sacred Games will never be made. Wondering why? Let's find out!

Speaking exclusively with us, Nawazuddin Siddiqui said he will never do a web show again that is high on abusive language. Referring to his debut series Sacred Games, Nawazuddin said he has done it once. And now, he can't do a series, which is filled with abusive language, for 10 seasons.
"I did it once (with Sacred Games). After two seasons, even my directors got bored and felt the third season nahi banana hain. And all actors also said no for season three. Jo hogaya so hogaya. Even Anurag (Kashyap) and (Vikramaditya) Motwane don't want the same lines to be repeated. Creative people get bored easily. A lot of people told me third season banao Sacred Games ka," he told OTTplay.

Even today, Nawazuddin gets calls from people wanting to know an update about Sacred Games 3. However, he tells them, "Par bhaiya third season nahi aayega, vo khatam hogaya. Vo hogaya."
Nawazuddin Siddiqui on use of abusive language in web shows
In the same conversation, Nawazuddin Siddiqui shared his thoughts about the use of abusive language in web shows. The actor said hurling abuses has become a commercial trend/ business in OTT shows. "Although we initiated it, but now if someone asks to me do an OTT series full of abusive language, I will say no," added Siddiqui.
