OTTplay interacted with Nawazuddin Siddiqui, whose film Rautu Ka Raaz was recently released. The actor shared his thoughts about the use of abusive language in OTT shows.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui has one of the biggest web shows, Sacred Games, to his credit. The actor has worked in several films and some of his films were released in the web space too. His recent project, Rautu Ka Raaz, made its way to ZEE5 and OTTplay Premium. Following the film's release, OTTplay exclusively interviewed Nawazuddin. In this conversation, the actor not only opened up about OTT censorship but also discussed the use of abusive language in web shows.

When Nawazuddin Siddiqui was asked about the censorship of OTT content, the actor said, "It is a long debate. I have only done one OTT series - Sacred Games. Kaam pehle passionate tareeke se shuru hota hain and later it becomes a business."

Further sharing his thoughts on this topic, Nawazuddin added, "OTT has now become a business. Gaaliyan-vaaliyan dena... vo ab ek sensational dhanda ban chuka hain (Hurling abuses have become a sensational business). Although we initiated it, but now if someone asks to me do an OTT series full of abusive language, I will say no. Because I have already done that. Main first se leke tenth season tak series nahi kar sakta."

Apart from doing the series Sacred Games, Nawazuddin Siddiqui had a few direct-to-OTT releases. He starred in the film Tiku Weds Sheru with Avneet Kaur. Directed by Sai Kabir, the film had its digital premiere on Amazon Prime Video. Besides that, Siddiqui's movie Haddi was also a direct-to-OTT release on ZEE5 and OTTplay Premium.

On the work front, Nawazuddin was recently seen in Anand Surapur's Rautu Ka Raaz. The actor played the role of SHO Deepak Negi in the film. He worked alongside Rajesh Kumar and Narayani Shastri in the movie.
