Gauahar Khan calls motherhood her 'best blessing': 'I just appreciate my mother so much more now' | Exclusive

Gauahar Khan is a proud mother to baby boy Zehaan. In an exclusive chat with OTTplay, the actress called motherhood the 'best blessing'.

Gauahar Khan and her husband Zaid Darbar were blessed with their baby boy Zehaan on May 10, 2023. Since then, the actress has been a doting mother to her little one. A month after delivering her baby boy, she revealed his name on social media. Now, in an exclusive chat with OTTplay, Gauahar opened up about embracing motherhood.

Gauahar was asked about how her life changed after embracing motherhood. To this, the actress told us, "I think I don't remember a life before being a mother. It is the best blessing God can give you. I am sorry... I get very emotional about that. Children are the best thing on this planet Earth. I just appreciate my mother so much more now that I am a mother. It is the biggest blessing that anyone can get."

Gauahar Khan on returning to work

The actress has resumed work after five months of delivering her first child. She will be hosting Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11. Talking about her decision to do so, Khan added, "I was ready for it. I prepared myself mentally and physically after three months of delivery. I knew I had to completely concentrate on Zehaan for three months. Once the three months were over, I started my fitness (routine) and diet. And Mashallah, I have achieved 60% of my goal and I am happy about that."

Gauahar Khan blessed with a baby boy

A month after welcoming her baby boy, Gauahar revealed his name on Instagram. Sharing a family photo, the actress captioned her post, "Our ZEHAAN. Revealing our little one's name, ma sha Allah on his 1-month date since birth. Thank you all for ur love, seeking your continued blessings for him, and requesting for privacy for our lil Jaan. He sends his love (sic)."

On the work front for Gauahar Khan

Meanwhile, on the work front, Gauahar will be seen as a co-host for Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11 along with Rithvik Dhanjani. The reality show is being judged by Malaika Arora, Farah Khan, and Arshad Warsi. It premiered on November 11, 2023, at 9:30 pm. It will air every weekend on Sony TV.
