Yami Gautam starrer Lost is the ZEE5 Original thriller drama, directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury. Inspired by real-life events, the latest film follows a young investigative journalist, who leaves no stone unturned to find the reason behind the disappearance of a young activist man.

Reportedly, the latest movie gathered mixed reviews from the critics and the audience. On the other hand, Yami garnered immense praise for her performance. In a recent chat with OTTplay, the actor spoke about the same and mentioned that Lost has found its audience and not every film is made for everyone.

Yami shared, "I think lost has found its audience. Not every film is made for everyone, every kind of film has its own audience and Lost has found its audience. And I see that with my own eyes when I read such comments. And when I read on social media, and when I'm talking to media. So, there will always be a section of the audience, which may not like your film, it could be this film could be some other film. But I go with the majority. I like to go with the majority of people saying it and I think I feel the love. I feel they're, they're getting the film, I feel the love for my performance, for my team's work. And so I like to see the good side."

She further shared her opinion on how the audience has now started taking interest in the detailing of films and said, "It's a good thing that people are interested to know how films are made. And not that they don't enjoy films today. We have to know the pressure is on us, the responsibility is on us to give you good films, which you can enjoy."

"But I find it very interesting when I read a comment or I read a question that who was the editor, who did the background score was so good the cinematography was so good. Actually, these are the people who made the film. I've done my job as an actor I have performed but how has that performance been captured? What is the background being played music being played or not being played in the background? All that those things are worked on? Now all that is what people actually want behind the cameras. They are the ones who are making this film. So I'm happy to see this awareness in this new age audience where they have the right questions to ask they understand that we actors become the face of a film. We are public figures but actually, a film is made with the 200 people you know behind that camera and to give them that respect to give them that to acknowledge their work. I think it's a great thing," she added.

Lost, which also has Pankaj Kapur, Rahul Khanna, Neil Bhoopalam, Pia Bajpiee, Honeyy Jain and Tushar Pandey, is available to stream on ZEE5.
