Vivek Oberoi plays the protagonist, while Suniel Shetty will be seen in a negative role in the forthcoming MX Player series.
Vivek Oberoi is known for his unconventional choices in movies, be it as a protagonist or a negative role. Currently, the actor is riding high on the success of his latest outing, Inside Edge season three, in which he reprised his role as the main antagonist, Vikrant Dhawan. Interestingly, in 2022, Vivek will be completing 20 years in the industry as an actor. During a recent exclusive interaction with OTTPlay, the actor was asked about his journey looking back.
To which Vivek exclusively stated, "I don't look back, I look forward," adding, "I believe that when you're driving a car, you don't drive looking in the rearview mirror. You drive looking at the beautiful road ahead. So I'm super excited. I'm doing six projects right now: two shows and four films. Another film I'm shooting right now is right here in Kerala, and I'm also shooting in Mumbai."
The Saathiya actor also dished out a few details about his new web series on MX Player, titled Dharavi Bank in which he plays the lead, while Suniel Shetty dons the negative role. Vivek revealed, "The series I started is called Dharavi Bank, where I play the protagonist and Suniel Shetty plays the antagonist. It's a crazy world, a gritty, mad space being helped by Samit Kakkad, who did phenomenally well with Indori Ishq. So it's a crazy world of one man trying to take down an illicit empire. I find myself on the other side, which is exciting.
Furthermore, on his forthcoming projects, Vivek said, "Then I go to London to shoot in March-April. Things are going really, really well, and I'm only looking forward to it. I have no time to reflect."
The actor is also playing a negative role in his second Malayalam film, titled Kaduva alongside Prithviraj Sukumaran. Vivek is shooting for the same in Kerala currently.
