The actress was supposed to work with the director’s upcoming web series on Hoichoi but things fell apart after a dispute between the two
After her success in Star Jalsha’s Gaatchora as Khori, Solanki was all set to pair up with Satyam Bhattacharya in Rahool Mukherjee’s web series, C/O Chowdhury Bari on Hoichoi. It was supposed to go on the floors on June 2. While the shooting started, the actress got replaced by another TV star, Srijla Guha.
OTTplay contacted the actress to get details of the issue. Solanki expressed her anger and disappointment over the director’s behaviour. “Rahoolda threatened that he will ensure I do not get any work with Dev Entertainment Ventures Private Limited and SVF. As per my knowledge goes, it is Devda and Srikant sir (Mohta) who take the final call. Who is Rahoolda to say such things?” she asked. “I had a fabulous experience working with SVF and I am sure the same will happen if I ever work with Dev Entertainment as well. What Rahoolda told me is his own words to threaten me and that's not acceptable,” she added,

Elaborating on the dispute, Solanki explained that after the initial conversation, she quoted a remuneration based on the workload. “Later, I found out that all the initial conversation went haywire and they came up with a ridiculous amount of money. Suppose, I quoted Rs X for 20 days of shooting, they made an average of that and calculated my remuneration on per day basis. I don’t work on per-day terms anymore. Moreover, all this was done without discussing it with me. If there is a budget constraint, they could have just called me and discussed it. But they just did all the calculations themselves and came up with a ridiculous amount as my remuneration. When I declined to accept their offer, Rahoolda misbehaved with my manager. He yelled at him and threatened me that I won’t get work in SVF and Devda’s production house. I am appalled by his audacity. If he can say such things to me after working here for years, how would he behave with other younger artistes?”
