Kriti Sanon is at the height of her career, working with some of the biggest directors, boasting a dream cast, and competing head-to-head with the biggest names in the business.
There are actors who dominate single-screens and actors who target niche classes, Kriti Sanon is an actor who appeals to both types of audiences. The Delhi-born engineer connects with people through her relatability, but she also wins them over with her charisma and confidence. She has fans among both the masses and receives love and respect from both groups, as evidenced by the success of Heropanti, Dilwale, Bareilly Ki Barfi, and Mimi.
Speaking volumes for her strong screen presence and star power, the actress has consistently made an impression in every part that has been given to her. While traditional norms limited an actress' ability to stand out in front of her male co-stars, Kriti never came across as the 'eye candy,' always commanding the screen and making a strong impression in each of her movies. Kriti's ability to work effectively with industry heavyweights like Akshay Kumar and millennial stars like Kartik Aaryan opens up a larger variety of film opportunities.
Recently, while talking exclusively to OTTplay, Kriti finally annouced that she is working with Shahid Kapoor for a Maddock production. She said, "I am currently working with Shahid Kapoor for a Maddock film."
The actress also revealed how excited she is for Shehzada's release as it is a full time entertainer. She said, "I feel that Shehzada is a complete package family entertainer. We kind of loved watching such films in the 90s which has family values, romance, characters and their relationships, it has action, comedy and I feel somewhere we stopped doing that. You will have a good time and that's what people are looking for, to get entertained."
Meanwhile, Kriti Sanon's upcoming film is Shehzada, which is an upcoming action film, helmed by Rohit Dhawan and is Kartik Aaryan's debut as a co-producer. The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Allu Arvind and Kartik Aaryan. It also stars Manisha Koirala, Paresh Rawal, Ronit Roy and Sachin Khedekar. The film is an official Hindi remake of the 2020 Telugu film Ala Vaikunthapurramloo which stars Allu Arjun, Pooja Hegde, Tabu, Murali Sharma, Rajendra Prasad, and others.
