Gujarati actor Nisarg Trivedi, last seen in the web series Cutting, has been a part of many interesting films like Babubhai Sentimental, Bau Na Vichar, Dhunki, Saheb and Duniyadari, most of which released in the previous two years. All the projects are as diverse as chalk and cheese, to say the least.

OTTplay got in touch with the actor to talk about his career in the entertainment industry. When asked what factors convince him to take up a project, he replied, “The content is always the priority. If the content is good, I don’t care about the people I work with. If I think that something will work, then I say yes to the project.”

In the series Cutting, Nisarg plays the role of a younger brother who doesn’t live in India and has a major conflict with his elder brother. “The main conflict is that he wants to help his elder brother, whereas the latter doesn’t want to be helped. Their argument is very humorous,” the actor shared.

Before Cutting, Nisarg was seen in another Oho Gujarati web show called Sambhlo Chho. Talking about his experience while working on that show, the actor shared, “It was a good experience. I had to perform through my voice. There isn’t much to do with body language there. Sambhlo Chho was an interesting project because I got to play Jhaverchand Meghani. I enjoyed working with Ankit Gaur and Aarti Patel.”

The actor also shared that he is going to be a part of some interesting projects soon. “I think the young directors and writers are working on great concepts. I feel thrilled to be a part of them,” he stated.

Opening up about his future projects, Nisarg shared, “I have a project on Bhagavadgita. I’m playing a modern Krishna. He is an old man following and conveying Krishna’s philosophy to young businessmen. I have another project based on a series of poems by Ravish Parekh. Apart from that, I may work on a web series for Amazon Prime. The story is set against the backdrop of Ahmedabad.”
