Exclusive! Anusha Viswanathan on her debut on TV: It is like a constant practice of acting and that helps

Anusha is all geared up to debut on television with Leena Gangopadhyay’s new mega serial Jol Thoi Thoi Bhalobasha which features Aparajita Adhya, Chandan Sen, Anashua Majumdar, and others

Anusha Viswanathan had a very busy summer this year. It started with her character in Srijit Mukherji’s Durgo Rawhoshyo in which she plays Tulsi. She shot in Madhya Pradesh during the blazing heat of summer. Soon she travelled to the UK to shoot Mainal Bhaumik’s Grihostho with Ritabhari Chakraborty, Saurav Das, and others. Within a month, she again travelled to the UK to shoot Parambrata Chatterjee’s Hawa Badal 2.

Anusha came back with a surprise as she is all set to debut on television with Leena Gangopadhyay’s new serial Jol Thoi Thoi Bhalobasha which features Aparajita Adhya, Chandan Sen, Anashua Majumdar, and others. “It all happened when I was in London to shoot Hawa Badal 2 with Parambratada. I was asked to send photos and when I got back, I was asked to do a look test. I am very excited,” the actress told OTTplay.

Anusha started her acting career on stage in theatres. She worked in several films and also worked on OTT with Srijit’s Durgo Rawhoshyo. Now she is all set to explore a brand new medium. “I am shooting 12 hours a day and I am very happy. First, I am working with ace actors like Chandan Sen, Aparajita Adhya, and Anashua Majumdar. You learn a lot from them. Apadi (Aparajita) explained how different this medium is for an actress. And then when you are on a serial set, you are constantly acting. It is like a constant practice of my art form,” said the actress.

Jol Thoi Thoi Bhalobasha will start on September 25 on Star Jalsha at 9 p.m. Anusha plays Aparajita’s daughter. “It is a mother-daughter story. I have two brothers – Debotyam and Arnab,” Anusha told us.
