Priya Prakash Varrier, the wink sensation plays a key role in the Pawan Kalyan-Sai Tej starrer. She talks about her journey in Tollywood
BRO is one of the most awaited films in Telugu cinema as it has Pawan Kalyan and his star nephew, Sai Dharam Tej, teaming up for the first time in their careers. So, mega fans are super thriller with this film which will be out on July 28, 2023 worldwide. Samuthirakni, who helmed the original, Vinodhaya Sitham has also directed the remake which has dialogues and screenplay by Trivikram.
Priya Prakash Varrier and Ketika Sharma play female leads in this film and both the heroines have pinned a lot of hope on this project to make a strong impression in Telugu cinema. Priya Varrier, in particular, says that she is eagerly looking forward to BRO's outcome as he career is indirectly dependent on the film's success.
Speaking in an interview, Priya says that due to a lack of proper guidence in the Telugu industry, she did not sign projects carefully and lost out on good films in the last two years. But with BRO, her career will be back on track, says Priya Varrier.
The wink sensation as she is known, made her debut with Nithin's action drama 'Check' which was directed by Chandrasekhar Yeleti. The film ended as a massive flop at the box office. Priya's second film, Ishq-Not A Love Story with Teja Sajja also ended as a disaster at the box office. But things changed when she bagged BRO and plays a vital role in the film. "Being around Pawan Kalyan is itself a dream come true moment and I will cherish it for a lifetime", says Priya Varrier.
The young actress says that though she does not have many scenes with Pawan Kalyan, him being on set itself created a different vibe. "Pawan Kalyan is a very gracious person who cares for everyone" says Priya. Speaking about Sai Dharam Tej, Priya says that Tej has the best role in the film and his chemistry with his uncle is one of the highlights of BRO.
Priya Prakash Varrier's career is now looking bright as she has three films lined up in Hindi. She will also be seen in a Kannada film this year. But her eyes are on BRO's outcome as the success of the film can bring her big offers in Telugu cinema. "I am already getting a lot of offers and once BRO releases, I will take a call as to which film to sign," says Priya Varrier.
On the other hand, BRO has music by Thaman and he has been trolled for the dull music that he composed for the film. A special event is being planned where Pawan Kalyan will attend and take the buzz to the next level. We need to see how this film fares at the box office.
