Bigg Boss OTT Rapid Fire Exclusive! Urfi Javed: Karan Johar is the perfect pick for the show

Urfi Javed also revealed her reaction on finally being offered to be a part of Bigg Boss OTT house.

Bigg Boss has seen some very colourful personalities over the years. Bigg Boss OTT is no less. Urfi Javed, who is a Television actress, has become the highlight of the show because of all the times she has flirted with the big man himself.

Urfi, who has been nominated for elimination, awaits the results of Shukravaar Ka Vaar with Karan Johar. The actress told us at OTTplay exclusively that she feels the filmmaker is the best pick for the show.

Did you instantly agree to the show?

I agreed before their call.

What made you so eager to join the show?

I have been following Bigg Boss since childhood and am a huge fan of the show. I have imagined myself in all situations and judged people for doing the wrong things. Now I finally got the opportunity so why not?

Is this the first time you were offered Bigg Boss?

This is the first time. Before this, I had approached them but they refused to take me.

What was your first reaction on being offered the show?

Take my credit card but give me this offer.

What are you expecting from the show?

I'm expecting over-the-top craziness. I'm expecting everything to be extra.

Who has been your favourite contestant so far? Is there any previous contestant whose footsteps you want to follow in the house?

No. I want to be myself. I want to lead my footsteps.

I had many favourite contestants. Gauahar Khan, Hina Khan, Urvashi Dholakia, Sidharth Shukla and Shehnaz Gill.

What is your game plan for the show?

You will see that on the show. How will it benefit me if I reveal that already?

What kind of tasks are you expecting in this season?

I don't know. Every time I watch the show, Bigg Boss has something new up his sleeve. I'm usually shocked with those tasks. So if I expect the tasks then there will be an issue. So I'm going to expect the unexpected.

Which is the one thing you will refuse to do on the show no matter what?

I won't go bald. If they want to apply cowdung on my body or anything, I'm okay with that. Basically, I'm open to doing tasks where if I'm asked to do something, I can be myself after the tasks ends.

Which area do you think will become your new home - garden, kitchen or bedroom?

Every place is and will be mine. I will sit with everyone and my area will be every area in the house.

Are you apprehensive about being locked up amid COVID-19?

What can be a safer place! Everybody has been tested for COVID-19. They have quarantined as required. There are so many precautions that there isn't a safer place than this house during COVID-19 times. If I could, I would stay in the house for a whole year.

How long do you think you can survive the tough situations?

I'm going to survive till the end and win this.

What do you think are your chances of winning the show?

Like everybody. Sabke chances equal hai. I also have equal chances.

You have been a part of some popular shows like Kasauti and Yeh Rishta, which released recently. Of course, there's Bepannah too. Was it that you got the Bigg Boss offer after being recognised on those shows?

I was associated with the show for a very limited time. I shot for Kasauti only for three days, after which the lockdown was announced. Bepannah and Yeh Rishta also had my cameos so the shows never really helped me.

What are your thoughts on Karan Johar hosting the show?

I love Karan. I'm a big Karan Johar fan. He's perfect for OTT.

What would be your reaction if Salman was hosting Bigg Boss OTT?

I know he's hosting TV. So if I happen to go to the TV version, then I'll get the best of both worlds man!

How real are reality shows?

I don't know about others but this is very real.

What's next for you after Bigg Boss?

I will know that after the show only. If it were up to me, I would go to space soon after. However, we will see once the show ends.

How much are you depending on Bigg Boss for fame?

I'm not depending on anything. I didn't even think so far. My only focus right now is Bigg Boss but nothing after that.
