Binny and Family: Anjini Dhawan says 'Varun Dhawan is too cool', no generation gap between them | Exclusive

Ajnini Dhawan is all set to make her Bollywood debut with the upcoming film - Binny And Family. For the uninitiated, she is Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan's niece and Anil Dhawan's granddaughter. Varun made sure to show her support and attended the trailer launch event of the film which was held in Mumbai on August 30.

Recently, Anjini sat down for an exclusive chat with OTTplay, where she discussed her bond with Varun and also opened up about whether he helped her generate her career or shape her character in the film. Read on to know all the details!

When asked if Varun Dhawan helped her generate her career in the industry or shape up her character, Anjini Dhawan said, “No! Not at all. Not with my character, he definitely helped me a lot when it comes to giving me advice and guiding me. Like if I have questions like ‘this or that’, that advice, is definitely always there but the character ‘no’.

When asked if she feels like there is a generation gap between her and Varun, the debutant said, “Actually no! He’s too cool.”

Speaking further about her thoughts on box office numbers and if they scare her, Anjini said, “Honestly, I haven’t thought of that far. I’m just excited that I’m in a movie and the movie is releasing in a theatre and I’m gonna watch myself, my excitement is done there."

Meanwhile, Binny And Family revolves around the story of three generations of a family and the generation gap between them. Along with Anjini in the lead role, the film also stars Pankaj Kapoor, Rajesh Kumar, Himani Shivpuri, and Charu Shankar in important roles.
