Sankranthiki Vasthunam is all set to hit the screens on January 14, 2025, as a Pongal special. Thanks to its super-hit music, the film, directed by Anil Ravipudi, has generated immense hype. To date, Anil Ravipudi has delivered eight consecutive hits without a single flop. Speaking in an interview, Anil expressed his confidence in the film’s success, calling it a sure-shot blockbuster.

"Though I am confident about my film, there’s still some nervousness. Even after giving eight blockbusters, I will be judged this Friday. As a director, I need to prove myself with every film," says Anil Ravipudi. Known for his trademark comedy, Anil assures that Sankranthiki Vasthunam will take things to the next level with its situational humor.

The film revolves around an ex-cop (played by Venkatesh) who is called on a mission. The twist is that his wife and ex-girlfriend also join him on the mission, leading to hilariously chaotic situations. "This is a very unique action-comedy, and we’ve narrated it in a hilarious manner. The performances of Venkatesh, Meenakshi Chaudhary, and Aishwarya Rajesh will be the biggest highlights," adds Anil.

Sankranthiki Vasthunam cast and crew

Produced by Dil Raju, who recently released Game Changer with Ram Charan, Sankranthiki Vasthunam is another collaboration between the star producer and Anil Ravipudi. "Six of my eight films have been produced by Dil Raju. He is like family to me. He saw the potential in me early on, gave me full freedom for this project, and I’m confident he’ll see great returns with this film," says Anil.

The film promises to be a treat for family audiences, with a clean entertainer format perfectly suited for Sankranthi. The music by Bheems Ceciroleo has already become a rage, with all the songs pushing the film’s buzz to new heights at the box office.

Looking ahead, Anil Ravipudi reveals his excitement about his next project with Chiranjeevi. "My film with the megastar will be an out-and-out entertainer, and I can’t wait to announce it officially," says the director.
